Most exercises will have a different influence on different muscles and will usually include a combination of stretching, stabilising and strengthening.
Following an assessment and treatment session from your Physiotherapist you may be advised to perform some exercises to compliment the treatment. You should only perform the exercises you have been advised to carry out. Therefore, the following exercises are for reference purpose only and should not be carried out unless advised to do so. If carried out correctly they should not cause any damage to a healthy horse. When performing any exercise you must follow some simple safety points: Never force any movement, do not fight with the horse, and if in doubt stop and discuss any issues with your Chartered Physiotherapist
